New York Comic Con 2/6-8 @ Javits Center

Holy nerd convention Batman! Its the biggest comic book convention on the east coast. The 10 year old comic book fanatic inside me wouldn't mind going. If only it wasn't over my price range of free.

Prices:
Friday - $30
Saturday - $40
Sunday - $30
Weekend Pass - $50

There are screening of new movies, artist signing, exhibits and a massive collection of comics and memorbilla for sale. If you have the money I would go just for the people watching at this one.

The Phenomenal Handclap Band

This project is just AMAZING! I urge you to check them out. They just played Music Hall of Williamsburg last night with Apes & Androids for an Adidas B-Day bash. Pissed I missed it. If you get the chance to catch em' I highly reccomend it.

"The Phenomenal Handclap Band sound is an anthemic, dancefloor-oriented blend of progressive rock, disco, electro, and '60s soul with sprinklings of hip hop-styled orchestral breakbeats and moody, synth-heavy hooks."
